I wonder what death is like
Is it cold?
Or maybe it’s burning hot.
A lot of people die with their eyes open
Is it because they see something?
Or are they trying to outsmart death by acting like they're not dying.
It’s weird, honestly.
People say your life flashes before your eyes
But when people die in their sleep
Are they trapped there…
Forever?
I would hate to be trapped in one of my crazy dreams.
I would hate being trapped in nothing even more.
That's probably my biggest fear.
Waking up to see absolutely nothing.
A completely blank canvas like in the cartoons.
Walking for hours yet, never moving?
Isolated and cold (or hot)
Sounds like torture.
Something I never want to sign up for.
Immortality, however, would be even more insufferable.
