The wind whistled outside her window

Reminding her of their song.

He would whistle it to her

As they strolled along.

The roses outside her window

Were in bloom bright red.

Reminding her of how it once was

And the words he had said.

The lightning struck outside her window

She remembers how bad it was.

He told her it was over

And his reason was because.

The thunder moaned outside her window

Reminding her of how she cried.

When he said it was over

No matter how hard she tried.
